I don't smoke a lot of cigars, but I really enjoy them, and for the time I've been smoking with any regularity I've used free/cheap cutters from B&Ms. At least until I butchered a few wrappers with one...
I decided to stop being so cheap after that and buy a decent, if not expensive, cutter. My Xikar Xi2 purchased on the net arrived not long ago and I gave a Padron the chop to test it out - what a difference. Perfect, effortless cut, no loose bits or busted wrapped.
I don't know anyone personally who likes cigars, so I thought I would create an account here (having lurked for a while) to share my enthusiasm for a pair of sharp blades. As we know, a large chunk of the enjoyment of cigars is the ritual, and how much better is that with a decent cutter!
Anyway. I tend to smoke more NC than CC and I keep a very small tupperdor containing about 25-30 cigars, cedar sheets and a digital hygrometer, on hand. I tend to find I don't need any humidification to keep it around the low sixties where I like it. You might say I'll outgrow the tiny tupperdor, but I've had it quite a while now and have found it sufficient for my needs... so far...
Anyway, I'll see you around the various threads no doubt.
