  • Gday from Down-under

    Gday Lads and Ladies,
Alex here, currently hailing from Sydney Australia. Been on cigars for about 6 months now, love everything about a stogies, the flavours, the mood, the people you meet, the lessons you learn. Best smokes to date are from the Paul Stulac range, Juan Lopez Seleccion 2 and Cohiba Siglo III.
Anyway, why am I posting in the UKCF? Well, in a month, my wife and I are moving to England for a year, we'll be bunking down in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire with my cousin. I'm part of an Aussie cigar forum here, have met some awesome blokes and learnt lots, so hope to do that on this forum when I'm over there.
We'll be living and working for 9 months, then travelling for 3. wheres the best place to find a job? any good websites?

cheers guys, may you ash be long!

    Welcome!
I'm pretty new here to, I'm sure you will find this as much of a welcoming place as I have and I'm positive you will love it over here!
I would guess the answer to your question would be what type of job are you looking for. I don't have too much information as I'm still a student so not looking for a job yet

G'day Blue, stick around, sure you'll find lots of info here & contacts for your travels. Did a 3/12 tour of Oz myself in '88. Great times.

Welcome aboard! As the other guys said this is a really friendly forum - and since you'll be experiencing the (great...) 2013 British summer during your stay, there's going to be probably more than a few herfs for you to keep your eyes open for!

anything really, I'd love to work as a barista over there (certified coffee snob here), but I've also got a degree in chemistry, and a background in sales, basically anything that will allow me to live over there! any good websites? I've found about 4 or 5 uk job sites, bit over whelming when compared to our 1 here in Aus
