Went out last Saturday, came back a bit drunk, so thought I'd take a walk to the local park and try my first cigar. Had some long matches that came with the order, so thought I'd use them.
On reflection it was probably too cold for them to light. So have up and headed home. On the way back remembered I'd got a lighter in my 'kitchen box' for camping, so headed into the loft and got that out. On the way out had a cheeky southern comfort as I was starting to feel very sober.
Got back to the park, managed to get the cigar lit (although the lighter became very hot in the process) and took my first few puffs.
It wasn't at all like I expected - very different to the smell coming from the lit end. Quite pleasant toasted wood taste. Didn't feel weird holding the cigar at all. Sadly due to it being late and bloody cold I had to cut the smoke short, but looking forward to my next one.Comment
