i mentioned punch tres petit corona or H Uppman corona (both i have loved), nothing too large as i have plenty of Santa Damiana Churchills, 3x monte No 2,Punch No 1, Diplomaicus No 2 plus a few other larger ones, can't wait to smoke just tying to age them a little, although as mentioned earlier some are 2009!

Funny just bought a 75 adorini Firenze thinking that would be large enough, unfortunately seems really small though!!!

That sounds like a nice selection. Have you thought about building a tupperdor for extra storage space? All you need is a large tupperware box with a tight seal, a digital hygrometer and some humidity beads. It's a cheap but effective way to store cigars.
If you want a midget to look like a baby, don't put a cigar in his mouth.

That's exactly what i need to do, when i can afford it (not now) i want to start to buying the odd box here and there to store (for personal and possibly as an investment ;-)) and the price of a cabinet humidor!! As they will be kept in the cedar boxes i can't see that it matters if they are in tuppaware! need to look into humidity beads.

Your friend won't find any Punch TPC nor Upmann corona: both are discontinued and absolutely unobtainable out of the UK.
I suggest Punch petit corona del Punch (discontinued too but still available) and Upmann corona major…

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Oh, why is that, are they still being made for the English market though?

Almost certainly just a case of still some old stock knocking around with some suppliers. Not aware of any being made for the UK market.

Why would they discontinue such a beautiful smoke??? Are the ones mentioned equally as good?

You will find that Habanos SA has an annoying habit of discontinuing excellent smokes, some of my absolute favourites are discontinued and getting harder to find. I guess that it's ultimately about what sells and what doesn't but every year cigar lovers are left scratching their heads about deletions.

I haven't tried the petit coronas del Punch but the Upmann coronas major are excellent smokes IMO. I remember smoking one from 1999 a few months ago and it was amazingly smooth and creamy.
