Student newbie!

Hi guys,

I am a 20 year old student at Southampton University and am just learning the ropes!

I can normally afford 1 or 2 high quality cigars every month and have an unfortunate taste for quality. Currently I am hoping to get a small humidor and 25 or so cigars in the near future so that I can have a more regular supply, but can't afford 25 of the more expensive brands!

I guess I will be around mostly for learning, finding deals or anyone kind enough to help me out with some equipment! I also will be starting a university cigar group in the near future so will need as much support as possible!

Hopefully I can become a more useful member soon!

Welcome along, I'm the same as you. Can only afford one or two cigars at a time but there is kits of god advice on here which is helping me select my smokes. Try the monte no.4 and hdm epi 2, 2 of the best I've had recently!

I need to diversify a bit, - So far I mostly smoke romeo y julietta no 2 - with the odd h upmann 46. The latter being a great cigar in my opinion.

All time favourite is a fuente opus x that I got from a friend, but they are a bit expensive and rare for me to get a box of!

I started smoking cigars during my 2nd year at Uni, always liked sitting outside the the Student Union and having a smoke - got some funny looks and occasionally a professor type would wander over with a cigar or pipe in hand.
