Hello all.
I am based on the South Coast, in Hampshire, roughly halfway between Southampton and Bournemouth.
Have been a cigar smoker for about 17 / 18 years in all but didn't smoke many over the past few years.
That however has all changed now and it is interesting to see the changes in the market in just a few years, definitely seems to have been a move to heavier ring gauges and lots of limited editions.
I especially like Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 1's and that has been my 'go to' smoke for many years and rarely disapoints.
My cigars tend to have a bit of age on them - I prefer them to have been in my humidor for 2 or 3 years at least.
I used to store most of my stash at a London cigar merchants but now prefer to keep control of conditions myself and this way I can enjoy them even when I am not smoking them!
In addition to cigars I am a very keen fly fisherman - in fact yesterday I enjoyed a Hoyo du Depute in the morning and a Serie P No. 2 in the afternoon whilst salmon fishing on the River Test - the cigars were alot more successful than the fishing exploits! I also play golf for my sins.
It would be great to get together for some herfing with any other members nearby, there are a few possible venues that could be good.
