  • New Smoker with Big Ambitions!

    Hey forumphiles!

Just introducing myself after making a New Years resolution (bit early I know!) to smoke more good Cubans. I like smoking on holiday but generally don't when I'm at home.

To that end I drunkenly ordered some cigars on xmas eve while the missus was on night shift and now I need to prepare for the delivery of my box of 25 Partagas Lusitanias.

So if anyone has any advice on humidors, next cigars to buy, etc etc I would be very grateful.

    Thanks

    Tom

    PS. Merry Xmas

If you have small ambitions, then buy a humidor of at least 100 capacity!
A 50 size will be outgrown extremely quickly!

One of the best value 100+ count humidors at the moment is from C-Gars Ltd
    Enterprise

Thanks for the warm welcome chaps.

A humidor is definitely my next purchase so thanks for the link Rod. IS CGars the place where most get their sticks and accessories?

The next thing to do is renovate the back yard to provide an enjoyable environment to smoke them in!

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Hi there Tom and welcome to the forum. If you have an e-bay account then check out 'Bespoke Boxes' on there. This is a good store that sells Hillwood humidors at very good prices. I went after a recommendation by JuniorTubed, also a forum member. I have two humidors from there and both have been excellent. Happy hunting!

                    Hi Tom, welcome

If you're on a budget a cheap alternative to the wooden humidors is to use tupperware - it works just as well as a more expensive version and will save you money which you can spend on more cigars!! Have a search on the forum for tupperdors - loads of us on here use them.
