Greetings to all!
Just a quick hello. I came across this forum quite by chance this morning when looking at a couple of groups I read on Facebook. I'll let a couple of UK stogie fiends know this exists!
I tend to write quite a lot on different forums - mostly to do with music because I am a musician - but I've never hit upon a stimulating UK cigar forum. (Maybe I haven't really been looking with enthusiasm).
I am a keen cigar smoker. I love Robustos in general - hence the name on this site - and at the moment I have gone back to H.Upmann and Romeo y Julieta and been taken aback by how much cigars improve in taste and aroma if you steer clear of them for a while. I usually fall back on Cohiba Robustos as well as Partagas Serie D4 as favourite cigars. I've never been disappointed by either of them. In fact, they often take me to heaven.
I can't blow all my cash away on great smokes, however. I think my wife and boys would kill me so I ration my orders and get by on a Villiger or two on most working days. I haven't found a better 'compromise' smoke over the years - tho I hope we can all share our favourites on this forum!
I'm not used to this forum's layout yet, so forgive me if this ends up in the JOKES thread!
