Hello all,
Can I start off by saying what a fantastic community feel you have achieved on this forum, one that is rarely found elsewhere. It seems as though there is a core of hard working, loyal and very generous people here and I am glad to become a part of such a wonderful bunch of guys celebrating their love of something that I have only just really discovered.
I smoked cigarettes for about a year, only on the odd occasion when I had had a few bevvys, but nothing serious. I am an avid fan of everything gentlemanly, the dying art of chivalry, holding doors open for women, standing when a woman enters the room and being an all round genuine person. As an example I have recently started shaving using a badger brush and cut throat razor, and have become a massive fan of whisky. So after some time spent browsing this forum I went out and purchased a Don Ramos No-2 and sat myself down in the garden with a miniature bonfire to keep warm, and boy did I enjoy every second of it. I am on the start of a very long journey into the cigar smoking and appreciating world, and I am looking forward to getting to know many of you guys on here and gaining knowledge from those who have paved the way for others in the past.
My next plan is to head down to Chartwell, the home of Winston Churchill with a Romeo y Julieta Churchill, and savour the environment in which he enjoyed so many of the wonderful wraps of tobacco that we all love (on differing levels) so very much.
Regards,
Tupps
