  • Sup, cigar blazers!

I'm Nathan, from Nottingham UK. Smoked my first cigar last night, I read a few reviews on here (particularly by Robusto) and I would never have thought of writing a review after just a single cigar, but it was so great that I just had to post some sort of response to the sheer glory of the thing.

Look forward to reading many more of your guys' great posts. I particularly like the reviews by those that give me a good idea of what is great about your cigars that you smoke, because I get more knowledge from those who are more knowledgeable and savvy (goes without saying) in regard to what is good and bad about a smoke etc etc.

    Cheers!

        Hi Nathan, welcome!

Nice review of the RyJ Petit Julieta, I've had a few myself and I'm always surprised at how good they are for their size. What do you have lined up for your next smoke?

          Hey,

          Cheers chaps.

You know Monkey I want to be sure its a really good one. Any advice wouldn't go amiss though!! I'll probably end up with a selection of small Cuban cigars contained in a sampler, so I can try out a few of the brands.

Yeah, the Petit Julieta really made me want to dip my toes in, but its like women, you want each one you're with to be really great so sometimes you just have to be careful before deciding I guess.

              welcome aboard mate,
ill give you the advice that someone gave to me. to start with just but singles until you find what you like. there are plenty of good samplers ive tried on our sponsers site (c.gars) or jjfox which will give you the chance to find out what suits your pallet best.
Also you are lucky to live in a city with a cigar shop i think its called gauntlys or something like that. its been awhile since i was there but i remember them being quite helpful.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Recommendations you say?! Bolivar Corona Junior, San Cristobal El Principe and the Partagas Short are all great, quick yet powerful smokes.

                          Thanks Frederick.

I'm a slow smoker I found! But those recommendations sound awesome, I'll be checking them out.

A great website is http://www.cigars-review.org/ and there are numerous reviews of cigars on Youtube and of course.. on here!

I can't praise the Boli JC enough though, fab little stick.
