About time that I actually joined rather than being a lurker....
I have been a pipe smoker for about 45 years, and have enjoyed the occasional cigar during that time. It was only recently that I became a little more passionate about cigars, and wanted to learn more.
Corner of the dining room:

and a close up of the current contents....

At this time I am still working through samplers to see which cigars appeal to me the most, before buying more.
But that small humidor isn't going to be big enough :-)
(You heard that before, right?)
I am at present adapting a larger old display cabinet which should fit the bill nicely. I'm not yet sure whether to use it upright or flat on its back, but either way will work.

You will also note in the background of my workshop that there is a wood turning lathe where I spend much of my time. (Being retired is good!). A few days ago I had the idea of combining two passions, and made these shaving brushes in elm wood....

The bands are totally sealed under an acrylic finish, and so that you can't feel the edges.
Cheers
