  • "Hi" from Northern Ireland

    Hi folks,
I'm a relative newbie to cigar smoking, after a few years of the occasional puff of a badly cared for stogie!

I've bought a new small humidor and a larger used one off eBay and hope to learn a little about the long term care and storage etc.
Also hoping to pick up a few tips on what to burn my cash on!

    Thanks
    Richard

Hey Richard, welcome. I'm going to be in Northern Ireland this weekend spending two nights in the Belfast area and then another in Coleraine before heading to Sligo and other parts. One of the places we'll be is a Cuban Festival that's being held in Kilkee with some cigar & rum events. Here's some info on that as well as a couple of herfs being held in Dublin in October. Great group of guys and worth the trip down.

                              Thanks for the warm welcome.
Monkey Nuts - Cohiba Siglo II's are probably my favourite. I've bought a box of those last week. In fact, i enjoy any Cohiba I've tried. Robostos, Siglo I's, and have a few of the bigger ones in the humi for when I've time to enjoy them.
                              Romeo y Julieta short Churchills
                              Hoyo De Monterrey's
                              H Upmann Magnum 46

Probably a light to medium smoke is my preference, but it does depend on the time of day for me.
