Cigars & Rum, Birmingham. Thursday may 26th 8pm

[The Prince, Moseley]

We have put together an exciting event for later this month at The Prince of Wales in Moseley, Birmingham. The event will be held on the beach, in our new Tiki Bar.

Working with Tor Imports we will be offering cigar lovers 2 of their finest brands, starting with a Nub Cameroon or Sun Grown, followed by a La Aurora Ruby Preferidos. To accompany these cigars there will be a rum tasting, with a Dark and Stormy made with Goslings rum, plus a double measure of Barcelo Imperial.

Tickets are only ?10 and include the two drinks and two cigars.

Nub, La Aurora, Oliva and Fuente God of Fire cigars will be available to purchase on the night.

Damn!!! I'm on holiday that week.
Some Greek island the wife booked. Still, we arrive back on friday (Birmingham airport) I might call in on the way home depending on the time (Can't remember what time we land)

If only it was a week later, unless I manage to pack all of my crap up to bring home from uni in 3 days.

And what a great night........I came from London but that was nothing compared to Gustavo Velayos who travelled from Madrid to talk about his beloved La Aurora Preferidos (the ones in the smart coloured tubes). Keith put together a really fantastic night of cigar and rum tasting - now this is a man who really enjoys the best and passes on his passion for a good smoke. There were just under 30 of us in what must one one of the largest outdoor smoking areas - well.....anywhere!

If you are anywhere near Moseley (Birmingham) please make it to the Prince of Wales - proper beer - great cigars - friendly staff.... yep I enjoyed it!

A Great Night

Robert you are too kind.

I must say that everyone really enjoyed themselves, despite the disappointing weather. What was really good was the number of folks who rediscovered cigars or perhaps had only just begun their own journey with cigars and now feel much more confident.

The smokes were great too.
