I have been watching this thread with growing dismay as it looks like it's going to be a great event with many of my favourite posters and chums but...I have a prior engagement and it is one I can't get out of.

I look forward to many great tales and photographs and, by the way, I am allowed outside the M25, but only twice a year (Doctors orders!)

A couple of thoughts ... on sampling cigars, it would be good to have two distributors involved but they would probably want exclusivity and that's only fair. I suggest Tor as I have worked with them before. I will talk to Patrick, my H&F contact as I am seeing him today.

Another idea is to check out the lots on the C.gars Vintage Auction and come up with ideas on what we might like to smoke. I will then bid on a couple of lots, hopefully win them and we can divi up the sticks on a per stick, non profit basis. Any sticks left over, I will keep for myself. That may offer some interesting smokes. I will post the link to the auction catalogue later.
