Had a top weekend herfing it up on Hayling Island (so good Neill made up a song about it) with bnelly and BigBarneyHotDog.
We went cigar-for-cigar over the 24 hours and also managed a Suckling-esque two smokes at the same time comparison.
Started with a Partagas Culebras in Barney's own Garden Inn before moving to the pub on the beach for a PL Belicosos ER Asia and some lunch.
We then moved on to another pub with a heated outdoor area and smoked a Partagas SP1 and a JL No.2, consumed a few pints and debated the big question...salted or dry roasted.
Headed back to Barney's Garden Inn for the main event, the two cigars at once comparison. The three of us smoked a Partagas Salomones and a Teddington custom rolled Salomones side by side and discussed it all over a couple of bottles of fizz. Custom won 3-0.
Bolivar Greco ER from Cyprus finished off the night and an Upmann Conn#1 started us off again on Sunday morning.
Great to herf with you guys again. Dry-boxed lemon peel always tastes better non-blind, thanks for reminding me...BOOM!
