Well, what an excellent day! Even my headache through much of the afternoon didn't really dampen the spirits. Was good to see a couple of old faces, and was great to meet you Will. Apologies that we didn't end up at 10MS afterall... The evening proceeded down an ever increasingly peculiar route after you'd left though (and it was pretty peculiar as it was!). I've come to the conclusion that there is never a dull moment in London (especially if you're around St James)... With a Brigadier, Catholic minister and a 'spy' in attendance towards the end I was starting to feel as though I was in a PG Wodehouse novel - I half expected Aunt Agatha to turn up on the hunt for an elusive cat. Now I know what it's like to be Bertie Wooster or Uncle Fred (5th Earl of Ickenham)...

Indeed... good to meet you and the other chaps! Odd how the afternoon & early evening spiralled out of our immediate control! 10MS will no doubt be for another time... not like the opportunity won't arise!
Some of those stories from Father Michael will remain with me for a while, not often I'm only a second-hand handshake away from the Queen! Utterly potty... but facinating nonetheless!
