I've just looked up & found I can get there in 2 changes & 46 minutes so it looks like i'll be "working from home" that day (so long as this snuffle doesn't turn into a full-blown cold).

Do look it up on the tfl web site - Teddington has frequent trains from Waterloo as well as Richmond which is at the end of the District line.

i bought a bottle of laphroaig quartercask last week expressly for sharing at any christmas herfs, but its all gone now :-(

I have an almost full(!!) bottle of this - I'll bring it along!!

Just out of courtesy I would run bringing booze along past Ajay before just surprising him with it. The usual rules clearly do not apply as he is letting everybody bring along Cuban cigars of their own so I guess the corkage thing for bringing drink along is also suspended, but I would ask first.

I already confirmed this with Ajay and he confirmed its ok, not 100% sure about the corkage but given he said people can bring some alcohol along and didn't mention anything about corkage I assume it won't apply.

hey gents...17th just around the corner!...just wanted to find out the final total of hard core cigar afic coming down?....only so we can arrange the food...as BIG T and James knows this guys do put a good spread on...
also sorry to hear you can not make it down...

As for the corkage...there is not corkage...as long as i can have a few drops!...if not i have my plantation, za cappa, diplomatico reserva, etc..

who ever would like to come down earlier, you would have to buy a cigar from the shop to smoke down stairs...just helps the shop to keep runing...every bit helps..how the hell can you smoke a good cigar out doors in this weather!...

I was at Boisdale for the auction and trust me was not good fun smoking a cigar, and it was a Hamlet Salomon. A good cigar wasted
