Well, I finally made it back to Gloucester as the clock approached 1am...
Great afternoon and evening in excellent company (as ever when UKCF members meet up).
Excellent hosting by Ajay, thank you for providing an almost perfect venue for the event. The canapes were some of the best I've ever had, a great way of upping the energy just as the evening of alcohol and nicotine was taking its toll...
As for the cigars I had, I went with the H.Upmann Noella along with a few others. My thoughts on the cigar are pretty much in line with the others: nothing overly remarkable through the first third or so, but a strong finish. These will be lovely in a few years (they're not half bad now ).
Then I had the Bolivar Simones (Canadian RE), which I have read many good things about. Very well deserved praise too, in my opinion. A really tasty cigar, strong, but smooth and tasty - not your typical Boli, but very nice.
As for the RA Superiores... I didn't have time to smoke that on the evening (what with having to get to Paddington before my train left...), but it's ready to be enjoyed at a moment's notice.
Once again, great evening, well hosted and in great company. Thank you all, and merry Christmas.

Wasn't the Bolivar you had the same as mine which i thought was the French RE?
Haha! Thank you. Surprisingly little of the whisky magically evaporated. Once I'd swapped onto the 'sprinter' (if ever a train were inappropriately named...) which had no heating whatsoever I moved onto the King's Ginger for a bit of warmth... I swear, it was warmer outside the train than in...
As for the Boli, it was definitely the Canadian RE I had, fair bit smaller that the behemoth you were smoking. Not sure I could have coped with that before a good size meal!
Got in a bit late as I had some late work to get done. Glad I decided to get back out as it was great to catch up with a few of you after my work related absence from the board...hopefully things will slow down a bit in the new year for me to get back here more often.
Since I got in late I was smoking one cigar so I made it count...Ramon Allones Phoenicia Lebanon RE. If you are a fan of fuller cigars this is a must try!
Thanks again to Ajay who amazed us with rare cigars and exceptional facilities. No better shop to enjoy a cigar in as far as I'm concerned!
