A 1970's Cellini, 18ct gold case, with leather strap. Suits the smaller wrist like mine. Unfortunately, it's outstanding feature is that it is not waterproof.

After 10yrs of worrying I would forget today take it off before showering, I finally did it. And then to top it off, after taking it off, I dropped it on the tiled deck & it came out of it's case & went back in but kept falling out. 😔

The nice man said he should be able to service & fix for the standard service charge, which I think is around £500. However, due to it's age only a level 7 roller (watch equivalent) can service it, so £700. 😲 Luckily, the face didn't need replacing as they don't make them anymore.

Was due a 10yr service,, at least it's been washed clean to start with! 😃

Painful to hear but it should hopefully be ok. Rolex are very robust and with some cleaning and a few drops of oil it'll be good again I'm sure
