Not sure if anyone is based down this way. I am still very much a newbie - at 57 maybe the oldest newbie in town.

No idea where to hold it though .... Some of the pubs and bars in Clifton have good outdoor seating.

Doubt you're the oldest newbie in town, and you're definitely not the oldest member! I love Bristol, but haven't been back there for too long, so if you've organsiing something, I'd certainly head down the M4 (recommended to others of you too!). I have smoked cigars on the terrace of the Clifton Gorge Hotel, which is a great spot. Since it's part of Hotel du Vin and they have a positive cigar policy (eg cigars at the HdV at the Bridewell end) it might be worth a look. One for the better weather obvs!
