I'm not going on the boat, but I might be able to make an afternoon or early evening meet.
If anyone is meeting up for a pre-launch smoke, can I suggest The Royal Oak opposite Winsor & Eton Riverside Station*, here: http://tinyurl.com/3xejha7
Has a very nice outdoor area, sells a decent drop of ale & is close to the river (although I don't know exactly where the boat sails from)
[*...which is the staion on the Waterloo-Reading line, the Central station only provides a link to Slough ]
That's the play Sy, maybe by about 2pm if you are up for it?
I'm more than a bit concerned about the severe weather warning/storm that's supposed to hit us tomorrow afternoon/evening. Still I understand the top deck is half covered so we should be ok
Still, how cold can the Thames be
And the cigar provided is the Wide Churchill.

Just got back from this.... good evening! Didn't bump in to anyone, I guess I should have worn a red carnation?
The wide Churchill was a fair enough smoke and I followed it up with a Trini robusto short that was bit of a dog! The weather was shocking but it didn't stop me from having fun as always!
I was driving round the M25 home from Heathrow for hours in the rain and spray last night. I was thinking about this excursion and hoped it wasn't a complete wash-out for anyone going... It really was a shitty night weather-wise.
Sorry turbo, we came on-board, looked at the cramped crowds downstairs, looked at the soaking, cold smoking deck upstairs and decided we didn't fancy 4 hours of it so we bailed.
A little disappointed with HH for not planning sufficiently for rain. I spoke to them the day before expressing my concerns about the weather warnings and they said it would be no problem and not that crowded in any event, but we had a fight just to walk through the lower deck. Also didn't appreciate a third of the space taken up with suppliers selling wares, for ?45 i feel like I have already spent and would like to just enjoy the event.
Never knowingly out-herfed but could not face it in the cold, wet and crowded conditions.
Of course maybe things got better and we missed out but on first viewing none of us wanted to take that chance.
Anyone want to buy a wide Churchill for ?45?
