Nottingham Cigar Smokers

I am currently starting a pipe club in Nottingham due to many people requesting such a thing. I have a few people who want to start a cigar club, but im a little unsure as to the number of people wanting to join one and how exactly to do it.

My first idea was to just have it at a real ale pub where a group just decide what to smoke and we meet up have a beer and a smoke. Would anyone be interested, if we can gain interest i can try and arrange sample nights through distributors.
The Lincolnshire Poacher has a large heated (not that relevant for summer) smoking area and a vast selection of ales, ciders, whiskeys and other fine drinks. The Poacher is only a 5-10 min walk from the city centre on Mansfield Road.
Would anyone be interested in trying to get something going? I would like to get the cigar smokers of Nottingham together to share there experience of brands to smoke and those to avoid.

if anything gets going, may well head on up for a day or two!

I would be interested too, depending on expense etc, im just near grantham, trains only ?6 return, but timings are important as my last train home from Nottingham is about 8.35pm pretty poor for public transport.

Ok i was thinking of having them straight after work, so from say 6:30 untill 8:30ish.

As far as costs go, we can always do the option of picking a cigar then everyone is free to purchase from there favourite retailer(Obviously i would rather you brought...........*slaps own hand*). So its looking promising!

I will leave this post here for a week if we got 5-6 people interested we can pick a date. If we do it mid week the pub wont be a packed full of people off out for a friday/saturday drink.

SO lets see where it goes from here.

Lovely idea! I regrettably will never be able to attend. OZ is a good distance from Nottingham . But for the rest of the brothers this sounds like what the doctor ordered.
