Oh yes, one later in the year could be most interesting, I will have earned some money by then, with any luck!
Can you shed some light on what the overall cost of the weekend/dinner trip was please?
I have been meaning to head there to look at the fortifications for years, combining the two would be excellent.

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
The dinner was free of charge as it was sponsored by Stagnetto and Balblair whisky with cigars suplied by Stagnetto and me (the vintage Jamaican ones). At the end of the year last year we were getting 3 nights bed and breakfast at The Rock, including flights etc for around ?200 each. The breakfasts at The Rock are the best I have seen so it was good to fill up early on in the day and then just eat out later
Once we have a rough idea of the level of interest I can speak to the travel company and see what kind of deal we can cut.
But if you bring them along that is 50 more cigars you can have them carry through customs for you. You will just have to buy some nice cigars to make up for the money you loose on their spending spree lol.
Guys i booked return flight from Luton via Monarch and booked 3 nights at the Rock 4 star inc insurance for ?300 . Hotel booked trough my Gibraltar and i dare say could've shopped and got a cheaper flight. Good value if you stay longer and maybe get a couple of rounds o' golf in. Stagnettos is well worth the visit, no matter where we walked on the Island we always ended up at Staggies, strange.
