    Boisdale 22nd March

    Anybody else at the Boisdale tomorrow for the 21yo Scotch and Trinidad Fundadores? I am there with two friends, neither on the forum, both bloody foreigners, so any familiar faces would be a bonus (for the terminally stupid that is said tongue in cheek).

    I will be in town most of the day, well from about lunch time if any of the usual lot are around for a smoke at JJ Fox or something?

    I have to take my lad rugby training so no can do I am afraid.

      One of you lot told me about this. I got tickets on Saturday (they squeezed me in, it is oversubscribed) so more heads up to me would have been nice.

      No big gun, no budgie smugglers, just my usual wit and charm.

        It finally happened, well it had to eventually I guess.Today I had the misfortune to be in the company of somebody even MORE obnoxious than myself, I did not think it was possible!

        This odious pile of steaming human garbage had the ignorance to jump in on, and regale the assembled guests with his vile opinion on our conversation that he had been listening in on. I was relieved to find out that his accent was from Canada, not the US but this was not until after a guest of mine had left in disgust having been intentionally and directly insulted. A remarkably pleasant evening was abruptly ruined by the ignorance and bad manners of one loud mouthed colonial. My previously well received invite to my friends suddenly seeming like a regrettable faux pas and leaving me somewhat embarrassed. Sadly I learn that this ?person? is a friend of the proprietor of the Boisdale, well, no accounting for taste.
