Was there yesterday (got a couple of SLR RE Pacificos).
Couldn't make today, even though I actually had to virtually walk past the door!
"By the cigars they smoke, and the composers they love, ye shall know the texture of men's souls."John Galsworthy "A good Cuban cigar closes the door to the vulgarities of the world." Franz Liszt "The most futile and disastrous day seems well spent when it is reviewed through the blue, fragrant smoke of a Havana Cigar." Evelyn Waugh "Remember, commander, no cigars before launch."a Cuban doctor's orders to an astronaut at Cape Canaveral
Looks like they have all disappeared into the usual Ajay's time warp maybe never to return!
When I was young (about 1928) there was a program on the moving teleovision screens about a guy in Australia who had a time freezing boomerang "when this boomerang flies in the sky, all time will stand still"
I think being downstairs at Ajay's is a bit like that, one cigar passes into another and you walk out of the front door and all of a sudden it's like 'Back to the Future'.
Everyone is dressed in Baco foil and driving around in cars with no wheels that hover 2 feet off the ground.
I had a great time. Enough cigar porn to last a lifetime!
It was great meeting everyone and Ajay is an incredible host with a superb set up! Really felt like family the whole time I was there there. And the knowledge of cigars was ....just incredible! My head is still spinning...
I started out with a nice RyJ Short Churchie and finished with a fine PSP no. 2. Can't wait for the next gathering
Yeh, I better write something up. Not sure what Ajay was thinking regarding my cigars, did I do something good for once and god rewarded me? No, there is no god and I NEVER do anything correct!

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
