  • Port & Cigar Tasting, London, 27/10/2009

After the success of the Rum & Cigar tasting we held at the Bluebird Restaurant earlier this year that I know a number of you went to, and certainly enjoyed, we've organised another one and I thought you would be interested to know more.

A selection of Neal’s Yard Cheeses are on offer to keep you going whilst trying the three Port's that will be tasted on the night, the Warres 2007 vintage, the Dows Quinta Bomfim 1996 and the one I am most excited about, Grahams 1955 Vintage.

Two cigars will be presented on the evening, by H&F's Simon Chase, firstly the Cohiba Siglo I, and secondly the Partagas Serie D No.4.

Tickets are priced at ?35 and should you wish to attend you can contact Penny Johns at the Bluebird directly on 0207 559 1130 or email her on pennyj@danddlondon.com

The Bluebird is located at 350 Kings Road, Chelsea, London SW3 5UU.

Full details are here including some tasting notes on the Ports, see you there!

The day after the Boisdale cigar event, might make things tricky even if I did get you in for free! Awkward timming, hmmm....

Some might call it bad timing - some might call it a great selection of cigar related events in a short space of time - maximum fun!

            James...?

Is there a single event that I intend to go to without encountering you there :P

It'll be good to see you though. I look forward to getting to know the rest of you soon.
            Thanks

Jimmeh... Not every one has as much free time as you.

although, this doesn't mean that I don't agree with you.
                      Thanks

Thankyou. Anyway - if he is making a choice - then he is obviously free on both days - otherwise he would pick the one that he is free for.

Or he could be designating what night he was so that he can use the other for something else.

Is that - at all - a possibility?
                          Thanks

You sir, raise a good if not excellent point.

                              I'll concede to that.
                              Thanks
