Suggest we start the ‘first one books the call’ principle from here. Start a Zoom call, put the codes (meeting and passcode on this thread, and see who turns up and when (personally I’m unlikely to be able to join anything before 19.00). People could canvass interest before initiating a call if they wanted to.

Just to be clear, all:
- check this thread to see if there's a herf on already
- if there isn't a herf announced here, it means you're the first
- if you are the first, set-up and start the Zoom meeting (herf) via the Zoom website or App (you'll need to have registered to do this)
- then post the meeting number and the passcode from Zoom into this thread with the anticipated start time (or a note saying you're on already).
- Later people will then check for these details here and join via the Zoom website or App.
- People can then join and drop out of the herf as they please

there's a lot of concern within orgs about zoom even though they've bought licences... example is business sensitive meetings should not be made using zoom..--

The biggest problem IT and security has to solve is people. No denying it.
The videos include private business discussions, casual friend conversations, therapy sessions, and, yes, nudity.
A lot of design and development is about minimize human error. If its easy for the masses to mess up. It's not secure. And without having to compromise using vulnerabilities.
If it's possible to accidentally breach security without the approval of more than one person of authority, it's insecure by default. Extrapolate that to the general population using Zoom.--
