Now is a good time, so we need someone who knows the walk . A meeting place time etc. I will phone ahead to the Cigar outlets that we shall visit. I think end up at JJFox's or No1 St James.

This is a nice idea snooky, If I'm able to make it over I will, it would be a good way to remember Nic. Maybe a dinner would also be good idea, I'm sure H&F could supply something special to smoke...

I shall phone the H&F outlets soon so they can expect us im sure they will make us very welcome. Sauters have dedicate a nice tribute to Nic on their site. I reckon we could meet say 11.00 am to start. Maybe some may want to meet earlier for brekkie. I recall Dunhills serve a good breakfast.

I'd like to join if I can. I recommend 45 Jermyn St for brunch.

Just a thought Snooky but on the first UKCF walk we all met Nic at Cecconi's Mayfair for breakfast

And not far from the walks staring point..

Dale that sounds like a plan . We could meet at Cecconis for breakfast say 10.00 - 10.30. On the 8th then go on the walk . Any one not hungry can meet us at said meeting point around 11.30.
I called into Fox's yesterday and of course they will make us welcome. We don't need a spoken guide just anyone who knows the route. All suggestions welcome to make a pleasant Herf and share fond memories....where is the meeting point ?

Just looked at Cecconis menu, couldn't see Bubble and squeak or black pudding, but I'm happy to go with the flow.
Details of time and place will be posted soon.

So if we can meet at the Roosevelt/Churchill statue between 11:30 and 12:00 , which is on the corner of Old Bond St and New Bond St. Nearest tube is Bond St on the Central line or Green Park on the Jubilee line. This should give anyone who is going to meet for brunch plenty of time.
We can discuss a meeting for brunch but so far Cecconis seems likely, depending on numbers we may need to book.

If a Mod can arrange a list of who's coming and who wants brunch would be good.

Utterly gutted that I've been sent to the US on business and can't make this date. I suspect I will try to arrange with anyone else who couldn't make this date to do a similar event. Not the same as having everyone (although people can come twice!) but it's the best I can do
