Sorry to gatecrash but is this a spare bed going in a hotel for the Herf? I have been undecided on whether to stay or drive back home the same night. That's a good question Dan, the non Londoners may not be aware you can't use cash on the buses. Oyster card, travel card or contactless payment card.
