That's good advice; I like to bottle condition for about 3 months with one or two being tested at 4 & 8 weeks.

My next batch is going to be a stout, I'm tempted to brew it with a touch of black treacle.

Matty is your man for that, his treacle stout is wonderful.... makes me want to do a salted caramel mild.

Nope it's not a brew kit just a great northern ale.
