I'm not going to surprise you then Marc when I tell you that I could do any of those rigs you have just suggested! I like your white tie idea - think it will be stroller with bowler hat for the day and white tie for the evening. Best wishes Sludgie (Mr Benn)….

I've just been looking at the accommodation rates for Ferrari's (Marc's suggestion). Very reasonable starting at ?45 per night. This obviously suits those of us based in the north more than those who are down south. Martyn has also kindly suggested that we could use his golf club. So, I am thinking we could do two herfs - a northern one and a southern one, and if people want to go to both then that's great. Martyn has suggested a date of 27-29 June (although he does have a wedding on also, so we would need to deconflict with that) - How would that suit (see what I did there) people? If we can obtain a rough idea of numbers then we could try and get something put in place…Same with the northern one - if we go with Ferrari's country club as a provisional venue, how many people would be interested in attending?

Currently till November just before I go the DR so I've had to use all my leave booking that and Christmas solid despite knowing that a good few of those days will come back as rest days and three day over Christmas are bank holidays. I can't get a gash day off till they sort out what we're going after November. Lots of unhappy people at our place and I haven't even told my wife yet that I have to work the weekend she's booked a hotel in Bath!

Northern herf wise Saturdays are always a safe bet for me personally.
