Doesn't have to be a tweed suit. I like the black tie idea, and I think it may be worth asking some of the members who work in the industry if such an event would be feasible. Other venues that may work are the Hotel du Vin hotels.

Of course mate, rooms don't have to be split, they could be for couples. In effect a couple could make a weekend of it, were a stones throw from the lakes so if it was a Friday evening you could go on to have a Saturday in Windermer, Coniston or Kendal etc...
