Hi All
Birmingham Cigar Club will be holding a dinner in Birmingham on Saturday 11th July, 7.30 p.m. for 8.00 p.m. The event is held at St. Paul's Club, St. Paul's Square just outside Birmingham City Centre.
These events are always really good fun and everyone is made welcome. There are some true British eccentric characters in attendance!
Two competitions will be held during the evening, the first between the Secetaries of the Birmingham Cigar Club and the Birmingham Pipe Club. The second competition, for the Janet Powell Shield is open to all members of the Cigar Club (membership is currently the bargain price of ?7.50). Entry for the competition is ?11 to cover the cost of the cigars (everyone has to smoke the same cigar from the same box). It's a 'who can keep their ash the longest' competition, again, great fun.
