Yes, it was good to have a good rattle and a smoke, although my second stick the Jl2 was disappointing. A tight draw spoiled it. It was my own stock.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I think we were all too busy gas-bagging. Credit to Simon, making his way up from Londinium, and Batler, oops, I'd long gone. Next time ay?

I'd like to personally say a warm thanks to our absent host, Keith, and relay my condolences over his recent loss. His stand in, Mark, is a great guy and did the place proud. Thank you. If not before, see you all in May time for the Big Smoke.

I got back about an hour ago. Keith showed up and I had a smoke with him. Very rarely do I meet someone as genuine and friendly as him. A true gent.
