  • JJFox 225th Anniversary

I had an email drop in my box today with details of the special week at JJFoxes for their 225th Anniversary, copied straight from there:

I am not sure if you are aware that we are celebrating a big anniversary this year.
In 1787 Christopher Lewis opened his tobacco business at 14 Long Acre in London's Covent Garden. 225 years later, we at JJ Fox are very proud of our association with this business, now one of the oldest tobacconists in the world.
Accordingly, as part of our Birthday celebration, from the 17th till the 22nd of September, we will be hosting Open Supplier Week and welcoming one of Cuba’s most talented Cigar Rollers Senor Fidel Segui to our store. For more information, please click here.

Also, to celebrate our 225th Anniversary, we have teamed up with another family who takes pride in offering only the finest to discerning cigar smokers around the world- The Padron family. The result of collaboration is an exclusive blend of the most premium long-filler sun-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos that have been aged for a minimum of 10 years. For more information on the cigar and pre-orders, please click here.

We are looking forward to seeing you at our store soon!
From all the team @ J.J. Fox

+2. I love Padrons but can't really justify paying ?40 per stick.
If you want a midget to look like a baby, don't put a cigar in his mouth.

Hehe true, the Padrons are darn expensive, but I was thinking more of the fact a roller is in store for a week.

the premium Padrons are nice but when you compare what you can get in the Cuban world compared to the price of these Fox specials it doesn't really add up, Im sure they will sell a fair few mind

Not for me in a million years. Have smoked lots of Padron's and they do not do it for me at all.

Knowing Gerorge Pardon and JJF I would be surprised if it is anything other than a great Pardon though.

At that price, it would also have to sleep with me.
