For the cheapskates among you who wish to have a few drinks and stay over, I have just booked myself into the luxury boutique hotel that is the Travelodge Birmingham Central Broadway Plaza for the 'princely' sum of ?19.

I stayed here for the summer herf last year and its a perfectly acceptable place to sleep for one night and is a short taxi journey from 'The Prince'.

Pete - there's a few travelodge in the area all a similar distance away, I chose this one before because there's a big car park right next to it, I wasn't sure if parking was as easy at the others they list which is why I stayed there before.

Came up ?39, then I hit refresh and it offered ?19 as a non-refundable rate. At ?19 I'll take the risk.
