I can only continue to apologise about the date. We have had lots of feedback from industry players, other shops and cigar fans away from this forum who think the Monday is a good choice. Guys, no matter what date and day of the week we pick, some folks will simply not be able to make it. On Saturday and Sunday The Prince is very busy anyway so there would simply be no room. Bank Holiday Mondays have the advantage of many people being off work, yet the Prince would have a relatively quite afternoon; therefore it makes sense. If the event offers enough value and excitement and given the 3 months notice, it should pull in enough people. It may take a year or two to build up, but as a cigar enthusiast I would like to say I was at the first one.Comment

The other thing we can do is organise another herf later in the summer, just for forum members. Alternatively there's already a herf here on Saturday 24th March, organised by El Cat. I am sure he wouldn't mind a few more cigar fans.Last edited by The Prince, Moseley; 09-02-2012, 12:55 AM.Comment

Brilliant idea! I know the idea has been mooted before, and a couple of us even looked into the logistics, but looks like you've cracked it!
Spot on location, set up, and a sound plan of attack. I hope to be able to make it, but may be somewhere a little on the warm side come May.

OK folks, most of the work on this has been put to bed and tickets will be on sale in about 2 weeks. I will post full details as soon as possible. Meanwhile, its not much but here's the logo! There's some great smokes, drinks and a strong programme of activities on the day.
