  • Autumn/ Winter Herf

    Hi all
Hope everything is been going well for you guys
I've been on this forum for just a short period of time but I've learnt a lot, checking forum everyday have become my habbit. I'm intend to organise a herf sometimes in November at Manchester, this might be the last opportunity for me to meet most of you as I'm leaving the country for good in January . I know the weather has not been very kind lately, but nothing can stop us from having a good time . I'm contacting some of my friends to get hold of some cigars to do a blind tasting, possibly some of the LE this year for a small cigar raffle. For food, I could get a great discount from the restaurant I'm working for at the moment -Ning Manchester ( the food is great thou )

I would like to know if you are interested in this, I really want to make this happen. Any suggestion would be more than welcome.

    Thanks

if enough people are intrested id be up for this, i went to the big herf this summer and had a great time.
my girl friend has friends and family in manchester so this has two big bonuses for me 1-shes always saying i never want to go to visit and 2- i should have somewhere to stay!
i would have to say you will need to find somewhere with a good, heated, covered smoking area though cause there is nothing worse than the cold and rain to ruin a good smoke.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

I'd be up for this. Maybe do a car share from West Yorks if there is enough interest.

Mr Cohiba, I found 2 nice pubs/restaurants with smoking area, quite large cover and heating fitted.
However It seem like not many people up for this, so anyone fancy a small herf ? don't need to be in Manchester, I could travel around the Midland.
