Guys, I'd love to pop down. I'm in North London but literally 5 minutes from the M25 so Herts is not a long drive for me at all.

Venue - The Chequers Inn, St Albans Road, Redbourn, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL3 7AD

Time - Shall we say 19:00 onwards?

I think that's all there is to it. It's not a great pub but they serve a good pint of Doombar and there is a large concreted outside area which is the most important thing. They also serve food for anyone who wants to eat.

How would people feel about a doing a sort of "lucky stick dip" on the night? It would involve anyone who wants to take part bringing a tubo of around the ?12-?15 mark, chucking them all in a black bag or box and then each person getting to pull one out. Could be a laugh and some of us might get to try something new.
