Well last night I had my first cigar in a few weeks and it was a Monecristo No. 5 and very lovely it was too!

I went with one of my recently arrived LFdC Short Robustos. Very nice - slightly more intense flavours than the previous one I smoked, but a little less refined as a result. Still a '91/92' type of smoke. Enjoyed it with a glass of Auchentoshan 12yo whilst watching the final episode of The Chicago Code - am utterly gobsmacked that they have cancelled it after one (great) season. Granted the original plot-line has run it's course, but they can create another, surely...
