I totally enjoyed a Hoyo Epicure Especial #1 in the garden with a Peroni Gran Reserva or two.
Best cigar I've had for a while and I may well pop back out for a Monte #2 in a mo.
Went non cuban today whilst doing a spot of gardening, had a somewhat unspectacular Vega Fina Short Robusto.
I wasn't expecting a lot and didn't get it. Just a pepper bomb , like most non cubans. It developed some cream and coffee notes in the mid 3rd but overall was a tad bland.
Whilst watching Tom Jones 'al fresco' tonight, started with a Trini Reyes (brilliant as ever) and followed on with a RyJ Short Churchill (deep and meaningful in comparison - so much a different proposition to the Reyes...very enjoyable though).
