Oliva Serie V double robusto. One of only two NCs that I've tried and it was extremely enjoyable. Smooth and creamy most of the way with some nice hints of pepper towards the end. Would certainly smoke one of these again.

Had originally intended to smoke a Bolivar CE after watching this enjoyable review, but then my H. Upmann Coronas Major showed up in the mail, so I decided to give one of them a go right off the truck. A quick four days in the post, along with the tubo, kept this cigar pretty well humidified, and I'm getting so much sweet vanilla and honey that it's almost like smoking a cream soda! Looks like the Bolivar will be tomorrow's smoke... -

) paired with a Chateau Montifaud XO Cognac...
Wonderful rich, pronounced flavours from both cigar and libation...
The cigar did show its age by being harsh at times, but overall this is going to age beautifully...
