Just had a siglo I on the way back from a gig. These little sticks never let me down and it made the drive home very relaxing.

Just finished my first Party Short: appearance is reasonably good - some stitchy veins but otherwise looks great; burn and draw were superb.

It delivered an earthy, woody and spicy flavour, while packing a medium to full punch. Plenty of smoke and held well over an inch of ash.

Last third opened with a certain peppery sweetness - very enjoyable - and finished with hints of leather.

The aroma of the smoke coming off was just intoxicating: a really, really nice smell - perhaps one of the best I have ever smelt.

    Smoke time: 1 hour

Monte No. 2 with a nice Bordeaux. Seems just about perfect to me at this moment in time. The sun has even come out.

        Cheers.

VR Unicos after a bbq last night.

Sat on the porch this afternoon with a Upmann No.2 and watched the local squirrels bullying the chipmunks.

Padron 2K with a large Havana Club...
Lovely looking stick - excellent pre-light draw. Cocoa in abundance. Easily lit...holding ash and gobfulls of cool, leathery smoke. Pepper on retrohale...altogether a very pleasant cigar...so far

My day in the big smoke was almost as smokey as I would have liked... but not quite.

I started the morning at Sautter's in the company of the esteemed Mr Wing with a Le Hoyo du Maire followed by an RyJ Cedros No3. They've certainly got some cracking historical objects hidden away there. Very interesting morning.

After a lunch at Carluccio's (embarassingly, as an Italophile, my first visit to one of their restaurants) I made my way across to JJ Fox, with another herfing partner, for a sample of the Le Flor de Cano Short Robusto - in two words: beurre blanc... It was a quite remarkable cigar for something so young, though given that it lasted until around the hour mark, I had hoped and expected for a little more development.

I've taken notes and photos, so there should be a few reviews and reports going up on the blog in the coming two or three days.

Well, here's my review of the day and a couple of photos. Was good to bump into Nic at Sautter's.

Yesterday was a pretty good day all told.  I made my way into London to spend a day herfing with a friend and had quite a day smoking, eating, drinking and looking at some real gems from the cigar …

Hmm choices choices it would be a peat from the west like yourself or a simple uncomplicated warm you up black bush lol i tell you what tho I'm drinking some amount of bulmers over ice right now it's not funny! And I had a couple of meetings to attend in the guineas storehouse of all places and naturally the guiness is lovely there!!
