Well, we're off to Ronnie Scotts tonight to see Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin bang out a few tunes, accompanied by a spot of supper.
The 'apres show' smoke that's been earmarked for such an auspicious occasion is an HDM Epi No 2. The choice was pretty easy after some serious accolades have been attributed to this cigar in the Cuban Cigar forum...thanks guys for the recommendations, btw.
I'll let you know how it turned out. Have a great Friday night yourselves.

That sounds like it'll be and amazing gig. Lee Ritenour is phenomenal live, shame he dosen't do Captain Fingers very often these days. Would mind a write up of the gig as well as the cigar if you get a minute.

Will do pauldrum81. The rythum section is Melvin Davis on bass and Sonny Emory on drums, btw.
Later on in the year, I've got tickets to see the Mike Stern Band with Dave Weckl (drum-god) and Chris Minh Doky on bass @ Ronnie Scotts... that should be a good'n too.
I gotta try me one of them Partagas SD's...there is sooooo much written about them (and the esteemed Cohiba Siglo) that they've gotta be worth a punt soonest.

This one is from 07, only two left now but smoking bloody great...
When buying a box (or even a cab), in terms of 'laying down' (excuse the wine parlance), are there hard-and-fast 'wait until' dates that are published? I'm a keen fine wine collector (mostly en-primeur), so sitting on a case or two of something outstanding is well within my capabilities...
Steve
Unlike others I tend to rotate what I am smoking alot, so I do unintentionally make my purchases last longer so they get age on them without me even thinking about it. I also try to buy boxes with later dates..
