Got Winchester Hotel du Vin lined up for this afternoon as they are doing their monthly cigar club today...

Apparently we will be enjoying a Trinidad Robusto Extra, which is going to be paired with a few Cognacs to see which one works best (and all this for ?25 - bargain in my book)...

Lets hope the weather cheers up and this could turn into a cracking afternoon/evening...

Just finished a rather tasty Upmann Connoisseurs No. 1 with a pot of coffee and have a rather fine looking Lusitania lined up for tonight to go with as many bottles of Hoegaarden as i can manage...

Tomorrow going to pick up Cuban purchases bought back by cousin. Can't wait

a monte 2 after dinner with a rum and coke and a siglo 1 at bedtime with a cappacino. Both very good but the cohiba edged it.

Monte Sublime while out and about in the sunshine. Got to say these are coming along great. First one I have smoked for a year and it was superb. Big, creamy and full of Monte goodness. I just find the rg a bit big.

This was a brilliant afternoon/evening...

Started at 4pm with a Trinidad Robusto Extra from '05...

WOW, what a smoke, nutty, woody, honey, vanilla, coffee and chocolate notes coming through really strong, this was paired with copious amounts of Mai Tai cocktail (Golden Rum cocktail)...

As there was only a handful of us there and Julien (HduV) host was obviously feeling in a generous mood he then let us have a Partagas Serie D. NO.5 EL'08 (from his personal stock) which is developing into a really flavourful/complex smoke, he paired this with a Yamasaki 18yr old single malt from Japan which worked perfectly...

We then rounded the evening off with a Ramon Allones 8-9-8 from '99 (again, from Juliens personal stock!!!), he paired this with Angostura 1919 12yr old Rum...

Great, great evening, looking forward to the next one on the 25th June...
