What an interesting evening. Started off by watching the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra (who were quite remarkable for an amateur orchestra - prooving that the regions can do classical music). Great evening of Elgar, Strauss and Rimsky-Korsakov. A couple of us decided that the only fitting end was to toast the performers with a Le Hoyo du Dauphin and a bottle of Merlot. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday evening.
