Been smoking like a trooper since wed night with father who is visiting from canada too many cigars and drinks too list just on enjoying a siglo II right now with a large Ron Zacapa whilst catching up with the latest goings on with the forum
Nice to meet a few chaps from the forum and get to meet and chat with the team from Foxes at the Padron event last night...
I had a Monte 4 which was really tight, barely any smoke - a real let down... tasted nice enough and I'm sure a good 'un is excellent but the one I had last night was a real drag... a real tough drag!
Moved onto a Trinni Coloniales, my first one of these (unknown age as picked up as a single from JJF's)... started out nice enough, very similar to the Reyes flavour, maybe a shade stronger in body. It had a few harsh notes, guess it needed to rest a while longer. Draw was pretty firm too, but not as bad as the Monte.
