i finally have a day at home alone during a week's half-term break from work. I've had lingering flu since Christmas and have not enjoyed a smoke because of stubborn throat and cough crap.

Yesterday I enjoyed an El Rey Del Mundo and gave one to a muso aficionado and it was a beautiful moment.

I'm having a me-day at home over songwriting and Cubans. I kicked off early with a RASCC and now feel wunderbar. I'm going to follow through later with a total powerhouse (quote) from Monk.

Back in the club and loving it.

Have graduated now to a COH Custom Rolled. My first. Quite a porker and a beautiful smoke so far. Wonderful aroma.

Just an ERdM PC this afternoon. First slightly dodgy one of the bunch. A bit of tuneling early on, which sorted itself out, then the draw became a little too tight at the end. In fact, this is possibly the first ERdM PC I've ever had with any noteworthy construction issues - not a bad strike rate, and it still tasted nice.

I like strong and the COH certainly was. So strong, in fact, that I've just felt semi-wobbly on a 40 mile round trip drive. It lasted an eternity but was what the doctor ordered on a foul rainy afternoon down here in Kent.

Had a small smoke, last before Cuba. Did a full inventory of my collection this morning, found a few stix I thought I was out of & found I had quite a few less of some. Chose a poor looking RG Panatela but it was quite a stick, amazing amount of smoke & a good RG flav all through.

JL PC my first one. Lovely taste but as tight as a nuns .... Stopped it from being as relaxing as i wanted but made it last bloody ages, an hour n half to be exact! Are the all like that or was it an underage thing?

Also smoked A coh custom rolled last night, a big hearty smoke, thoroughly enjoyable and knocked me on my ares for a good hour.

Cohiba Siglo II, running dangerously low on these now, only 5 left, smokes much better after a year in the humidor.
