Had a fantastic day out (as anyone sad enough to follow me on Twitter may have surmised). One of the highlights was a fantastic ERdM PC (OTS OCT 09) from my recent order from Mitch. I love these cigars, lots of smoke and great flavour...
Also had a few drinks in the gin distillery and watched the King's Speech for the third time - and every-time it has been as remarkable as ever. Colin Firth has delivered one of the seminal performances of all time there.

Erm, am I missing something Puff (quite possibly, I've not exactly been on top of my game recently), but is that not a Cuban cigar? I didn't realise there was an NC VR brand, and if there were, I wouldn't have thought they'd have had the audacity to take the great man's name for a cigar too.
And if it is the cigar I'm thinking about, then spot on, it's a damn fine cigar in my experience.

Met up with a friend from time back and worked my way through a glorious JL No.1.
It was initially as tight as a gnat's chuff, but a good poke up the jacksie saw it come good.
Wonderfully flavourful, once the juices started flowing"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

had a couple of glasses of chateau neuf du pape with a newly aquired bolivar corona gigantes, thanks to craig (whisky77)!!! tonight i feel like a rich man, lol!!! gonna finish the night off with a couple of glasses of black bush......
anyway, aside from the h upmann sir winston and a couple of aged (1998) ryj churchills, this is one of the best churchills i've ever had.......
all the best,
alex

However as best as I am aware (and Google) there is no such thing as a non Cuban Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro and I suspect what you smokes was a stone-cold classic CubanOriginally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

I'm flitting and flirting with the seegars again. Lighter times are on their way, which frees up a bit of time. Way out of touch on the board, but will keep my hand in, (smiley with tentative thumb up)"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"
