Wish I could make a trip to London... Won't be up until March though. Sounds like an excellent cigar opportunity.

We're looking after the inlaws cats for a couple of weeks and they are stationed in the conservatory so I'm not allowed to smoke in there for the time being.................two weeks and counting then no more hanging out of the utility door in the biting wind!
Anyhow - back on topic, I had a RyJ Petit Princes last night with a nice sized dram of Balvenie Doublewood; superb.

The simple answer to this is I'm not sure. It certainly was not what I expected of a RYJ - much stronger than the usual profile IMHO. It strikes me as a cigar that will benefit from a good bit of ageing. I am certainly going to hold a couple back and will revisit them in a couple of years, probably more. I certainly think they're not smoking to their potential yet - the tastes on the palette are somehat chaotic and overbearing for me at the moment, even though I normally have no problem with full bodied cigars - (Ramons are my favourite brand). However, I do think that given some time, this cigar could be a real cracker - It would be interesting to smoke a ten year old one! I thnk it would be a totally different experience - time will tell (if I can wait that long!!)

So do you know what range of yrs were totally rolled by hand, just incase we might stumble across some old boxes?
Anything 1996 or 1997 should be original 'free-hand' rolled. After 1997 I am not sure...
Would love to know the cut off date if anyone knows...
Cheers,
